Terms and Conditions of Warranty
1) Parts warranty
The Kitchen Centre warrants your furniture to be free from defects in material for a period of 2 years from the date of installation. If you discover a defect in a product covered under this warranty, we will repair at our option using new or refurbished components or if repair is not possible, replace the item.
It is required that you notify the The Kitchen Centre of any defect found within two years from the date of installation. After receiving notification of a claim, it may be necessary for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether or not a defect exists.
Exclusions
This warranty covers defects in manufacturing or workmanship discovered while using the product as recommended by The Kitchen Centre. The warranty does not cover loss or theft, nor does the coverage extend to damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions or bleaching effect of sunlight. The warranty does not extend to items that are subject to fair wear and tear or consumables, which include but are not limited to, light bulbs, filters, cutlery trays, handles.
The Kitchen Centre does not deem open or closed knots, grains etc, found in natural products as defects. Please refer to your conditions of sale for guidelines concerning this.
If you have added additional furniture/products to the original order which were not purchased from The Kitchen Centre then there may be a charge for the removal and reinstallation of this if it prohibits repair.
This warranty covers furniture, wirework mechanisms and work surfaces only. All electrical appliances, light fittings, sinks, taps, sanitary ware, shower enclosures/trays etc, all come with their own manufacturers warranty whose terms may vary.
2) Labour warranty
The Kitchen Centre warrants all repairs and or reinstallation of defected products for the life of the furniture from the date of installation. This includes the installation of all appliances, sinks, taps, etc that have been replaced under the manufacturers warranty agreement.
It is suggested that you notify the The Kitchen Centre of any labour requirements as soon as possible. The Kitchen Centre will endevour to supply one of our installation team in due haste but cannot guarantee any timeframes unless it is an emergency call. Emergency calls constitute a flood, gas leak or loss of electrical power.
After receiving notification of a claim, it may be necessary for an inspection of your furniture to determine whether or not a defect exists.
Exclusions
This warranty covers the labour costs for all repairs and or reinstallation of faulty products for the life of the furniture. There will be no charge for the repair of any defects in manufacturing or workmanship discovered while using the product as recommended by The Kitchen Centre. The warranty does not cover installation of any lost or stolen items, nor does the coverage extend to repair or installation of products subject to damage, misuse, abuse, unauthorized modification, improper storage conditions and bleaching effect of sunlight. The labour warranty does not extend to items that are subject to fair wear and tear or consumables, which include but are not limited to, light bulbs, filters, cutlery trays, handles
If you have added additional furniture/products to the original order, which were not purchased from The Kitchen Centre, then there may be a charge for the removal and reinstallation of this if it prohibits repair.
This warranty covers furniture, wirework mechanisms, work surfaces as well as the installation of replacement electrical appliances, light fittings, sinks, taps, sanitary ware, shower enclosures/trays etc that have been exchanged under their own manufacturers warranty. Evidence will be required that the appliance etc has indeed being replaced under guarantee and is not a new purchase. This warranty does not cover the installation of new furniture, appliances etc.
If any component of your purchase needs replaced when it is outside any parts guarantee period, the labour warranty will still apply, on condition the replacement component has been purchased from The Kitchen Centre. The lifetime of free labour warranty does not extend to installing third party goods.
Limits of Liability
If the product(s) fail, your sole recourse shall be repair or replacement as described in preceding paragraphs. We will not be held liable to you or any other party for any damages that result from the failure of any product supplied. Damages excluded include, but are not limited to the following: Lost profits/wages, lost holidays, lost savings, lost data, damage to other equipment and incidental or consequential damages arising from the use, or inability to use this product. In no event will The Kitchen Centre be liable for more than the amount of your purchase price.
The Kitchen Centre disclaims all other warranties, expressed or implied. By purchasing the product the customer accepts all terms described herein.
The Kitchen Centre Care and Maintenance Guide will be provided upon purchase. All guidelines must be adhered to or warranty may be invalidated.
N.B – Warranty is not valid until payment for purchase has been made in full
